Things you need to know about WWDC 2016
This week’s most trending event that was not be missed is the 27th WWDC (World Wide Developer Conference) held at San Francisco at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. It is an initiative under which the renowned apple community developers come together to learn about the future of OS X, iOS, watchOS and tvOS. The union promised exciting reveals to inspire the innovation of great apps of the world.
The 4 day conference kicked off on Monday, 13th June 2016 with 5,000 people present witness the reveal of the latest Apple wares. Commending on Monday, June 13 at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium with providing valuable insights about the future of OS, OS X, watchOS, and tvOS. Followed by honoring the developers behind the year’s best apps, the event got over today at Moscone West.
It was scheduled around as focused approach of sharing deep technical knowledge you need to build the next generation of apps using the latest Apple technologies. Many industry experts came on-board, Inspiring the audience to learn more about the implementation of new technologies.The audience also had the opportunity to engage personally with experts and consult not just about app development, but marketing and analytics too.
The last day,Thursday was scheduled to be filled with fun moments with food, drinks and music at an extravagant concert venue.
Let’s take a brief look at what all happened there.
There were four main areas in Apple’s WWDC 2016 press conference – tvOS, macOS (formerly known as OS X), watchOS and, of course, iOS. There were updates across the board, but the most impressive updates come in the form of iOS 10.
watchOS 3-One of the biggest feature announcement of watchOS 3 was Instant Launch which, launches and loads an app as soon as you tap on it.
tvOS- According to the latest update, the Remote app for iOS is being completely redesigned to mimic the Siri Remote for the fourth generation Apple TV. It is said that it will be able to perform all tasks including using Siri and playing games.
MacOS Sierra –Next up is MacOS Sierra (Formerly oS X 10.12). It features Auto Unlock, which will allow you to quickly unlock your Mac without typing in a password simply by using your Apple Watch.
iOS 10- One of the biggest milestone for apple, is up with 10 new features of iOS 10. These include-
- A completely redesigned lock screen and notification system along with enhanced 3D Touch.
- Much simpler design for the music app making it easy for the users to navigate through it.
